a letter from our president:

"Joining Alpha Chi Omega during my freshman year at Sacramento State was one of the best decisions I have ever made. From the moment I joined the chapter, I was surrounded by a group of individuals who embodied what it meant to be real strong women. These wonderful women have constantly pushed me to grow, not only personally, but professionally, and academically as well. Academic interest, leadership, financial responsibility, character development, and personal growth, the core values of Alpha Chi Omega, have been staples in shaping my journey toward my future career as a nurse. Prioritizing academic excellence has helped me stay focused and disciplined in my coursework, while leadership opportunities within the chapter have given me the confidence and skills necessary to be successful in my future profession.

Beyond these values, the sisterhood within Alpha Chi Omega has profoundly shaped the person and leader I am today. The unwavering support and encouragement from my sisters during various stages of my life have instilled in me a deep sense of confidence and resilience, both of which have been crucial in my journey to becoming chapter president. During my time in Alpha Chi Omega and jointly through this role, I have learned how to lead with empathy, communicate effectively, and make decisions that benefit the diverse interests of the women who make up our chapter. But more than anything, being part of this sisterhood has given me lifelong friendships and a network of loving women who inspire me every day to be the best leader, friend, and sister I can be, therefore, making my college experience truly unforgettable."
